What Lyt is
Lyt is an iOS app that helps product managers get structured coach feedback on their meetings. You record a meeting, the app transcribes it via AssemblyAI, and Anthropic Claude analyses it and gives feedback in four sections (what worked / what I missed / questions for next time / reference). The coach feedback is based on Martin Ibsen's Product Leadership Spider Web framework.
Who provides Lyt
Lyt is developed and operated by Martin Ibsen, Danish business registration no. (CVR) 34303320, Kaløvej 81, 8543 Hornslet, Denmark. Contact: mail@martinibsen.dk.
Subscription and price
Lyt is free to install. Access to the app requires a subscription: Lyt, full access, 499 DKK/year (incl. VAT) with a 7 day free trial. The subscription is auto-renewing, it renews automatically at 499 DKK/year unless you cancel no later than 24 hours before the current period ends. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase (or when the trial ends, if you have not cancelled before then). Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial ends. Apple handles the payment and charges in accordance with their own terms.
If your company has bought access, you can instead redeem an Apple offer code on the payment screen. It activates the subscription without payment for the agreed period.
Previous one-time purchase: if you bought access as a one-time purchase (299 DKK) before the move to subscriptions, you keep your access, you do not need to buy a subscription.
Once you have access, you add an AI key yourself in order to use coach feedback. You choose the engine: Anthropic (Claude, default and recommended), OpenAI or Azure OpenAI. From then on you pay for your own usage directly with the provider you chose. Typical cost is about DKK 0.30 per coach feedback. The subscription gives you access to the app, not to the AI. Transcription via AssemblyAI is included in the subscription, Martin Ibsen covers the ongoing cost of AssemblyAI as part of that access.
How BYOK (Bring Your Own Keys) works
When you add your AI key in the app, it is stored solely in the iOS Keychain on your device. The key is sent to Lyt's backend (Cloudflare Workers, EU), which proxies it straight on to the AI provider you chose. The backend neither logs nor stores the key.
Use of your AI key is governed by your own agreement with the provider you chose (Anthropic, OpenAI or Azure/Microsoft). You are responsible for having a valid billing setup with them.
What you may and may not do
You may use Lyt for personal and professional coaching about your work as a product person.
You may not:
- Use Lyt to record people without their consent (local law on recording must be observed, in Denmark you may record a conversation you take part in yourself, but you may not publish or share it without consent from the other participants)
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or disrupt the app or the backend
- Use the app for content that breaches Anthropic's or Apple's terms of use
Data and privacy
Audio recordings are sent via the Lyt backend to AssemblyAI for transcription and to Anthropic for coach feedback. Audio is not stored by the backend. Transcripts and feedback are stored locally on your device in markdown format.

No warranty
Lyt is provided "as is". The AI models can get things wrong, coach feedback is meant as inspiration, not as professional advice. We give no guarantee that the app is free of errors or always available.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel the subscription at any time in the App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lyt. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. If you cancel during the free trial (no later than 24 hours before it ends), you are not charged.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. Requests go to Apple Support, not to Martin Ibsen.
You can delete the app and all local data at any time via Settings → Data → Reset app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are announced in the app or by email (if you have added an email address in the app).
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts.
