Who is behind this

This site and the newsletter are operated by Martin Ibsen, Danish business registration no. (CVR) 34303320, Kaløvej 81, 8543 Hornslet, Denmark. Contact: mail@martinibsen.dk.

What data I collect

When you sign up for the newsletter, I collect:

  • Your email address
  • The time of signup
  • Which page you signed up from (martinibsen.dk)

That is it. I do not collect your name, IP address for profiling, or any other personal information.

What I use it for

Your email address is used for two things: sending you the newsletter, and occasionally telling you about my own courses, programs and products. Nothing else. I do not sell, share or rent your email to third parties, and you will never receive ads for other people's products.

The legal basis is your consent, which you gave when you signed up. You can withdraw it at any time. See the section on unsubscribing below.

Where your data is stored

Your email is stored with Loops (loops.so), which is my email provider. Loops is subject to the GDPR and stores data in accordance with European data protection law.

For how long

Your email is stored for as long as you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, your email is deleted from my lists.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data I hold about you
  • Have your data corrected or deleted
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk)

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from me. It takes effect immediately and requires no explanation.

Cookies and analytics

I use no Google Analytics and no Facebook Pixel. To understand what works on the site I use PostHog (EU-hosted, eu.posthog.com), but only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you say no, nothing is loaded.

If you accept, PostHog anonymously records:

  • Page views and clicks
  • Session replays, an anonymised playback of your movements on the site (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling), so I can see where things go wrong and improve them. Text in input fields is masked.

Your IP address is anonymised, data is hosted in the EU, and replays are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your cookies for the site.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, I will update the date at the top and give notice via the newsletter.
